On the night of October 29, 2022, a crowd of people enjoying a Halloween event in Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, Seoul gathered in a narrow alley and suffered a crushing death. So far, 156 deaths and 172 injuries have been reported.

The tragedy has left us all in shock and countless malicious messages have been circulated since then. Please do not use malicious comments or hate speech against victims, festival’s participants, witnesses, or police officers at the scene.
